Now sit down in a calm, quite place, clear your mind, take a few deep cleansing breaths, and then picture the reality you want in your mind. Picture yourself working in your dream career, surrounded by tools of the trade. See yourself seated at the head of a table at dinner with the social circle you want: a loving spouse, loyal friends, trusting and supportive co-workers. Imagine what it looks and feels like to do one of the things from your bucket list, whether it's climbing a mountain in the Alps, learning to speak a foreign language, spending a week at a romantic destination, or skydiving out of an airplane. 

Continue to breath deeply as you take in the sights, sounds, scents, and sensations of your potential new reality. Which emotion best describes how you feel as you visualize things being as you wish they were: happy, satisfied, fulfilled? Reflect on that emotion and the visual images throughout the day, especially when discouraged by day to day stresses. When you're discouraged or feeling down, remember what you visualized, and that those things will be your reality one day.
